Process Safety

Process Safety

Process equipment used for biopharmaceuticals, pharmaceuticals, and fine chemicals frequently have a number of process safety risks that may not be fully address by classic process safety tools such as HAZOP.

Dust Explosions - Toolkit for Risk Reduction

Integral Pharma Services has developed an award winning simplified approach to dust explosion risk reductiion including Hazardous Area Classification and the risk assessments required for the use of equipment in potentially explosive atmospheres.

Using this approach alongside our considerable experience allows us to provide a structured approach to go beyond Hazardous Area Classification and to help our clients reduce all of the risks associated with handling combustible dusts.

We have paid particular attention tothe impact that non-electrical sources of ignition have upon the associated risks. This is particularly important since many of the powders handled in the pharmaceuticals, biopharmaceuticals, fine chemicals and food industries are fine and easily dispersed and also surprisingly easy to ignite.

To find out more about more about this simplified approach download our DExToRRPoster.
